I respond to inquiries within 48 hours (other than vacations and holidays) and am the only person with access to texts, voicemails and emails.
Mental health emergencies (like considering hurting yourself or others) need immediate attention. Please do not text, email or leave a voicemail if you are experiencing an emergency. I may not get your message in time to help. Instead, please call 911, contact a trusted relative or friend, visit a local emergency room, or contact your local crisis line (1-800-SUICIDE or 1-800-784-2433 is available 24/7/365 throughout British Columbia).

Career Support for Aspiring Counsellors
People who are interested in counselling as a career often have questions about whether the profession might be a good fit for them. I enjoy helping people answer this question for themselves and work on program admission statements.
(I do not work with students who currently attend Adler University to avoid perceived/actual conflicts of interests).
Career Support for Counsellors
Counsellors can benefit from career support like any other profession! When I work with counsellors, it often involves helping them (1) assess workplace preferences (for example is private practice right for you?), (2) identify and describe their strengths and skills in job applications and web biographies, and (3) figure out and assess niches would fit best with the strengths and skills they bring to the work.
